The Trailer of 'Chalo', starring Naga Shourya in the main role, presents the premise prominently. Two villages bordering Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh have a history of rivalry, mutual distrust and comic-level hatred. In comes our hero, who defies rules and conventions in his own style. Or is it?
When Telugus and Tamils are at it, can cinema be behind? After all, cinema is one of the biggest passions for us. So, character after character, they refer to movies. Telugus must be good because it's they who made Baahubali, says comedian Sathya. Vennela Kishore is proud of the fact that a scene from 'Thani Oruvan' was copied by Tollywood. Viva Harsha feels Rajinikanth's ease is better in the Telugu version of 'Basha'. Tamil comedian Rajendran, Posani Krishna Murali, senior actor Naresh, Praveen and others are also seen.
The rom-com track between Shourya and Rashmika Mandanna should make a lively college campus screenplay.
Music is by Mahathi Sagar. The cinematography is by Sai Sriram. Lyrics are by Bhaskara Bhatla and Kasarla Shyam. Dance choreography is by Raghu and Vijay. Fights are by Venkat.
