Check out the stunning trailer of Taapsee Pannu's 'Rashmi Rocket'

The trailer for Taapsee Pannu's much anticipated film 'Rashmi Rocket' was released recently. Right off the bat, Taapsee impresses with the amount of hardwork she has put in to accurately eassay the role of a sprinter. She plays a small town girl who lives her dream of bagging medals for the country in athletics. It seems like a usual Bollywood sports biopic untill the story takes an unforseen twist.

A hormone test leaves Rashmi's character as well as her gender identity hanging and she starts facing crisis in her personal life as well. Apart from her physical transformation, Taapsee impresses with her acting chops as well. Priyanshu Painyuli also looks convincing as an army officer and Rashmi's husband. Abhishek Banerjee shines as an intelligent lawyer, which is quite different from his past roles.

Directed by Akash Khurana, 'Rashmi Rocket' is going to release on 15th of October on Zee5.
