RGV, who is making a thrilling drama with Nagarjuna as the hero, has meanwhile announced that his next web series is titled 'Kadapa'.

"My only objective of entering into the digital world is to be able to tell a story which I otherwise would have never been allowed to tell on a film screen. My second product on this platform after my Hindi Web series on the Mumbai Mafia called 'Guns And Thighs' will be the first-ever original Telugu web Series made for an international audience titled 'Kadapa'," he says.

The very title reminds one of the faction-ridden region from Rayalaseema. What is on Ramu's mind? "The title is derived as a summation of what a region stands for in its bloodthirstiness a synonym of how violent power affects the internal politics of ambition, ego, greed and one-upmanship," he explains.

Did any research go into it? "The story of the entire series of 'Kadapa' is something I have gathered over many years ever since I first researched 'Rakta Charitra' with my extensive interactions with ex-factionists to their victims, their relatives and so on. Some might feel that I have dealt with this subject matter in my earlier film 'Rakta Charitra' but nothing could be further from the truth. That's because, in that film, I barely scratched the surface of the truth of the Rayala Seema`s hardcore self due to my inconclusive knowledge at that time and also due to various restrictions and threats, but here in this web series I decided to tell it the way it is without any fear and complete honesty," he reveals.

"This series is as much intended for the international audience in terms of wherever violent power has been used to suppress any form of rebelliousness," Varma says with confidence.

The trailer for this series of Season 1 will be out on December 15 at 10 a.m.
