Five years after its announcement, the trailer of Ayan Mukerji's fantasy drama 'Brahmastra' was finally released on Wednesday. Despite having astronomical hype around it, the trailer managed to impress and the audience with its incredible visuals, cinematography and overall grand scale.

Apart from its VFX rich visuals, the trailer did an amazing job of introducing the characters. Ranbir as a young man who is unaware of his potential, Big B as a elderly mentor of sorts, Nagarjuna as the wielder of Nandi Astra and Mouni Roy as the leader of dark forces all seem well placed and perfectly casted. It seems like Ayan has realised his vision of creating a fantasy universe with its roots in Indian mythology.

It's no surprise that the audience's reception of the trailer was largely positive. "The visual spectacle that #Brahmastra promises is something I have never seen before in Hindi cinema!," a netizen wrote. The other one wrote, "Cinematography, Visuals, VFX, BGM. Everything is Top Notch. Honestly, I didn't expect it to be this huge! The trailer increased the excitement towards the movie like anything. What a magnificent and mind-blowing trailer.
