Another death related to the popular app TikTok has been reported. Two youngsters were taking videos at a lake in the outskirts of Hyderabad. The fateful incident took place on Wednesday at Dulapally lake in Medchal district. The deceased youth Narasimha had entered the water for a TikTok video. His friend Prashanth and he danced in the water to cinema songs. Then Narasimha posed alone while his friend took the video from a little distance away.

Suddenly Narasimha slipped and fell into the water where it was deep. He did not know how to swim and began to drown. Prashanth tried calling for help but it was to no avail. The body was recovered by the police on Thursday. This is not the first such incident to come to light. Over the past few weeks, an increasing number of deaths related to the app has been reported. Hopefully, there will be some action taken to ensure safety as the app is being used by people of all ages.
