The early hours of 12th January witnessed the arrival of Vin Diesel, Deepika Padukone and Director DJ Caruso on the Indian shores.
The visit marks to be Vin Diesel's first travel to India. The Hollywood sensation along with Deepika Padukone received a warm traditional welcome upon landing in Mumbai today morning.
A traditional welcome by women donning Navari sarees and the resounding Nashik Dhol greeted the Global stars to the country.
Aamchi Mumbai rolled out the red carpets with Maharashtrian style welcome consisting of an Aarti and tilak exuding much pomp and pride accompanied with gusto filled Band Baaja. The traditionally clad entourage stylishly atop their Royal Enfields then led the stars to their hotels in the western suburbs of Mumbai.
Vin Diesel and Deepika Padukone have been on an extensive worldwide promotional spree to promote their upcoming Hollywood film, 'xXx : Return of Xander Cage'. In order to promote the film in India, Deepika was accompanied by co-star Vin Diesel and director DJ Caruso over a 2 day visit to Mumbai.
There has been a lot of hullabaloo about Vin Diesel visiting Indian shores for the very first time. The Hollywood sensation has tremendous fan following in India with Vin Diesel also being the only Hollywood actor to witness the highest Opening day collections in India.
After promoting the film in London, Deepika Padukone will now be hosting Vin Diesel over the course of promotions in Mumbai. Deepika is leaving no stone unturned to ensure Vin Diesel has a memorable stay in India.
'xXx : The Return of Xander Cage' marks to be Deepika's first Hollywood outing that will showcase the actress perform Daredevil action alongside the cast. The film also casts Donnie Yen, Kris Wu, Ruby Rose, Tony Jaa, Nina Dobrev, Toni Collette and Samuel L. Jackson in addition to Vin Diesel and Deepika Padukone. The film is all set to release in India on January 14th 2017.
