It is a well known fact that T. Rajendhar acquired the Simbu-Hansika starrer Vaalu` from producer NIC Arts Chakravarthy who is facing a deep financial crunch due to the huge failures of his previous ventures.

In the recent press meet TR shared that he had to shoulder the burden of settling Rs. 26 Crores to the debtors of Chakravarthy to ensure the smooth release of Vaalu` on the 14th of August. The multi talented celebrity further added that Illayathalapathy Vijay had provided huge moral support and the Puli` producer P T Selvakumar and regular Vijay movies distributor Cosmo Sivakumar also pitched in for the same on the behest of Vijay.

TR has so much confidence in Simbu as an actor and the deepest love for his son and that is why he took such a huge risk for Vaalu`.
