Tovino's 'Minnal Murali' shoot stopped for violating COVID-19 protocol

With the Kerala government giving a nod to resume film shoots in the state from July 17, the filming of several Malayalam movies resumed in the state. One of the movies is Tovino Thomas' much-awaited movie Minnal Murali helmed by Basil Joseph. The team resumed the shoot on Friday in Kumaramangalam, Thodupuzha. However, the filming was stopped for violating the COVID-19 protocol.
Reportedly, Kumaramangalam grama panchayat falls records a higher percentage of TPR. Also, the team had been filming without permission. After the natives of the area protested against the shoot, the Police interfered and stopped the filming for violating the protocols. Later, the police registered a case against the makers over COVID protocol violation.
The multi-lingual superhero movie is produced by Sophia Paul of Weekend Blockbusters. The upcoming movie and will be releasing simultaneously in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada.
