Tovino Thomas to romance Kalyani Priyadarshan

Actor Tovino Thomas is teaming up with director Khalid Rahman for an upcoming movie film titled ‘Thallumala’. As per the latest reports, the makers of the film have roped in Kalyani Priyadarshan to play the female lead.
‘Thallumala’ was first announced last year with Tovino and Soubin Shahir as the leads. But now, thelatest reports are that Soubin Shahir has opted out of the movie and has been replaced by Sharafudheen. However, an official announcement regarding the new cast and crew list are awaited.
Meanwhile, the makers had recently released a casting call looking for Malabar-based actors. Ashiq Usman, who last produced Khalid’s ‘Love’ is backing this upcoming film as well.
Thallumala will mark the fourth Malayalam film of actress Kalyani who made her Mollywood debut with Varane Avashyamund. As the actress is awaiting the release of ‘Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham’, she also has Vineeth Sreenivasan's new directorial ‘Hridayam’, which has Pranav Mohanlal in the lead role.
