Tovino Thomas to reunite with Minnal Murali director Basil Joseph!

After the massive success of Basil Joseph's directorial Minnal Murali, a superhero movie that starred Tovino in the lead role, the actor-director has generated a huge nationwide fan base! According to a latest report, the duo are reuniting for an upcoming movie that will have them playing lead roles alongside Hridayam actress Darshana Rajendran in the female lead. To be directed by Vineeth Kumar, the upcoming venture will also star 'Pada' fame actor Arjun Radhakrishnan and Arjun Lal in important roles. The movie's script is penned by the writers Arjun Lal, Sharfu, and Suhas. Touted to be a drama, the movie was primarily shot in Bangalore, Mumbai and Kochi and it is currently in post-production phase. The movie is bankrolled by the same production house that backed the Mollywood super hits ‘Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi’ and ‘Sudani From Nigeria’. More details regarding the upcoming movie are yet to follow!

Meanwhile, the much-awaited world TV premiere of 'Minnal Murali' is scheduled on April 10, ahead of the Vishu season. Minnal Murali is the first superhero movie in Mollywood that revolved around a young tailor and a native villager who gain superpowers after being struck by lightning. The movie, which was helmed by Basil Joseph had its OTT premiere in December, 2021 and won amazing response from critics and audience alike.
