Tovino Thomas has now replaced Prithviraj in  Manju Warrier's upcoming movie Aami, the Madhavikutty biopic, which is helmed by veteran director Kamal. Tovino will be playing an extended cameo role in the movie which also has Anoop Menon and Murali Gopy in pivotal roles. 

 "It's an extended cameo but a vital character in the story too. It's always an honour getting to work with experienced directors and I am looking forward to join the movie in its final schedule next month," quoted Tovino Thomas in an interview to a popular newspaper.

Riding on a string of successful films, Tovino Thomas' upcoming Malayalam release is Mayanadhi which is helmed by Ashiq Abu. He also has some exciting projects in his kitty such as Maradona, Dhanush’s Maari 2 and a couple of films with promising debutant directors.
