Ahead of the release of Tovino Thomas' much awaited superhero movie Minnal Murali, the team has unveiled its trailer and has set social media on fire. The engaging trailer gives a glimpse of the story of an ordinary man, played by Tovino Thomas, who is a tailor by profession but gains superhero powers after being struck by a bolt of lightning. The Basil Joseph directorial is all set for OTT release on 24 December 2021. It was recently, the actor had shared the first look of his character Minnal Murali through social media. He also made the announcement of the trailer release.

Touted as the first Malayalam superhero flick, the big-budget film will have Femina George in the female lead along with Guru Somasundaram, Harisree Ashokan and Aju Varghese in pivotal roles. The movie was recently confirmed to be a direct-to-Netflix release on December 24 in time for Christmas. Sophia Paul of Weekend Blockbusters is producing the film that will also be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and English on the same day.
