Actor Tovino Thomas who has recently finished the third schedule of Aashiq Abu's Mayanadhi, has resumed the shoot of Dhanush's second Mollywood production venture Maradona in Vandiperiyar. Scripted by Krishnamoorthy, 'Maradona' will mark the directorial debut of Vishnu Narayanan, the former associate director of Aashiq Abu. Going by reports, the team will move to Ernakulam in a few days' time.

Debutante Sharanya R Nair essays the female lead opposite Tovino Thomas in Maradona. Touted to be a feel-good movie with elements of an action thriller, Maradona also features Chemban Vinod, Nishthar Ahammed, Liyona Lishoy, Angamaly Diaries fame actors Titto Wilson, Kichu Varkey and Jince Bhaskar, etc., playing pivotal roles. Sushin Shyam composes the songs and background score for the movie which has Deepak D Menon handling the camera department. 

Meanwhile, Dhanush's debut Mollywood production venture 'Tharangam' which also features Tovino Thomas in the lead role is gearing up to hit the big screens.
