As reported earlier, actors Tovino Thomas and Keerthy Suresh are teaming up for the first time for an upcoming Malayalam film titled Vaashi. According to the latest update, the makers of the movie have announced that the film will hit the bigsreens on June 17. Tovino Thomas took to his official Instagram handle to share a motion poster from ‘Vaashi’ along with a note that read, “Their face-off marks a beginning on June 17th.”Meanwhile, Keerthy Suresh, who plays the female lead in the film, also shared the motion poster and wrote , “Presenting the motion poster of ‘Vaashi’ Coming soon to screens near you! Their face-off begins on June 17th.”

Written and directed by actor Vishnu G Raghav, Vaashi will feature Keethy Suresh and Tovino as lawyers. The movie's story is by Janiz Chacko Simon. Kailas Menon of 'Theevandi' fame is composing the music. Roby Varghese Raj will crank the lens and Mahesh Narayanan has roped in as the editor. Vinayak Sasikumar has pen down the lyrics for the songs in ‘Vaashi’. The upcoming movie is jointly bankrolled by Urvashi Theatres and Remya Movies. More details regarding the project are yet to be disclosed.

Meanwhile, Tovino Thomas’ last outing was with the thriller drama ‘Naradan’ directed by Aashiq Abu. The actor has a handful of movies in the pipeline including ‘Pallichattambi’, ‘Anveshippin Kandethum’, ‘Thallumaala’, and ‘Dear Friend’. On the other hand, Keerthy Suresh is basking in the success of her latest Tamil release ‘Saani Kaayidham’ which was written and directed by Arun Matheswaran. The actress is winning accolades from all corners for her spellbound performance.
