Mollywood heartthrob Tovino Thomas was admitted to a private hospital in Kochi after suffering stomach injury while filming an intense action scene for his upcoming movie 'Kala'. The actor had internal injury and he was admitted to ICU since Wednesday. Now the latest is that his health is improving and satisfactory.

According to a statement released by the hospital, the actor took up for a repeat CT angiogram of the abdomen and that showed no evidence of re-bleed. The actor is now shifted out from the ICU and he will be discharged by next 4 to 5 days.

Filming of Kala, directed by Rohit V S, began on September 7. The movie has Divya Pillai and Pathinettam Padi-fame Sumesh Moor in important roles. Bankrolled by Juvis Productions, the movie's cinematography is by Akhil George and editing by Livingston Mathew is editing the film.
