As reported earlier, owing to the sudden spike in COVID-19 cases and the spread of Omicron variant, the makers of Tovino Thomas' much-awaited movie 'Naradhan' postponed the movie's release. Announcing the same, the makers of the movie had earlier released a statement, that read,“Due to the surge in the rise of COVID-19 infections and complications caused by the Omicron variant, the release schedule of Naradan has been postponed. Sorry for the inconvenience.” Well, now the latest is that team has finalised a new release date.
Taking to his official Instagram handle, Tovino announced that Naradhan will have a worldwide release on March 3rd. He also unveiled a brand new poster of the movie with the release date. Take a look -
Produced by Aashiq Abu, Rima Kallingal, and Santosh T Kuruvilla under the banner of OPM Cinemas, the film was originally slated for a theatrical release on January 27, 2022. Touted to be a thriller, Naradhan narrates the story which revolves around new-age media in modern India. ‘Naaradhan’, directed by Aashiq Abu, brings together Tovino Thomas and Anna Ben in the lead roles.
The movie has a stellar cast including Sharafudheen, Indrans, Jaffer Idukki, Vijayaraghavan, Joy Mathew, Renji Panicker, and Deepan Sivaraman. Coming to the technicalities, the story, script, and dialogues of the movie are penned by Unni R. As the movie marks the reunion of director Aashiq Abu and actor Tovino Thomas after 'Mayanadhi', expectations around Naradhan are sky-high.
