With the coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown, the theatres are shut down in India and are facing uncertainty. Meanwhile, the theatres in Dubai are reopening soon. With this, the movies of Mollywood stars Tovino Thomas and Dulquer Salmaan are getting a re-release.

The Tovino Thomas and Mamta Mohandas starrer crime thriller 'Forensic' will be released on May 27. The movie which has a worldwide release on February 28, this year, but was removed from theatres after the lockdown was announced. Announcing the re-release date, the makers unveiled a new poster of the movie. Earlier this month, the film had its television premiere and OTT release too.

Meanwhile, Dulquer Salmaan's Tamil movie, 'Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal' will also re-release in Dubai on the same day. Taking to Instagram, the movie's lead hero DQ announced the news. Like Forensic, Dulquer's Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal too is available on OTT platform.

Reportedly, 'Forensic' and 'Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal' will be the first South Indian movies to re-release in Dubai theatres after the lockdown.
