Hyderabad is soon going to have the world’s largest meditation centre on its outskirts. Come January 28, the Heartfulness Institute will witness the inauguration of the centre, which is shaped like a tortoise. Kanha Shantivanam is its name and it's spread over 30 acres. Located at about 40 km from Hyderabad, it can accommodate 1 lakh practitioners at once.
Renowned yoga guru Baba Ramdev will address about 40,000 practitioners on the occasion.
As per the organizers of the upcoming meditation event, three 3-day sessions will be held during January 28-30, February 2-4 and February 7-9. As many as 1.2 lakh practitioners are expected to take part.
