Jamuna today breathed her last at her residence in Hyderabad. One of the most popular female actors in the Telugu film industry in the black-and-white era, Jamuna made her acting debut in the year 1953 with the film 'Puttillu'. Two years later, the actress delivered her breakout hit, 'Missamma'. 'Gundamma Katha' and 'Sri Krishna Tulabaram' are among her most memorable movies.

Several Telugu cinema heroes mourned her demise. Here we bring you their condolence messages:

Chiranjeevi said that Jamuna's place will be indelible in the hearts of the Telugu audience.

Mahesh Babu lauded Jamuna's iconic roles. The 'Sakaru Vaari Paata' actor also mentioned that her contributions remain immense.

Jr NTR, in his Telugu-language condolence message, described her as the queen of the Telugu film industry.

Nithiin expressed his deepest sympathies to the bereaved family of Jamuna.

Jana Sena chief and actor Pawan Kalyan wrote about Jamuna's versatility.

Nandamuri Balakrishna described Jamuna as a versatile actress who didn't confine herself to Southern cinema. "She also did films in Hindi and won laurels," he added.
