Superstar Rajinikanth is all set to join hands with director AR Murugadoss after his blockbuster Pongal release Petta directed by Karthik Subbaraj, and this movie is expected to begin rolling from March.

While the movie, said to be produced by Lyca Productions is rumoured to have been planned as a non stop 120 days shoot, the other cast and crew members of the movie are yet to be announced. Now, the first official update on an important crew member is out.

Ace cinematographer Santosh Sivan has made it official that he'll be handling cinematography of Thalaivar 166, and expressed his happiness with a tweet that he's working with Superstar after Thalapathy. Santosh Sivan has previously worked with AR Murugadoss in Thuppakki and Spyder.
