One could say that the year 2017 has been fair to Tamil film industry in terms of quality movie releases amidst several issues. Each film's official teaser was celebrated by fans with views reaching sky high. 

It is usual for a movie's teaser to garner almost the same energetic fan anticipation as for a movie. This year, as usual Thalapathy Vijay and Thala Ajith films have managed to retain their top spots with the largest number of teaser views. The 'Mersal' teaser has 36,215, 122 views while Ajith's 'Vivegam' has 22,607, 460 views to its credit.

The remaining film teasers in the order of most views is as follows: Vikram's 'Dhuruva Natchathiram', Suriya's 'Thaana Serndha Koottam', Vikram's 'Sketch', Sivakarthikeyan's 'Velaikkaran', Jyothika's 'Naachiyaar', Dhanush's 'VIP', Jayam Ravi's 'Tik Tik Tik' and Karthi's 'Theeran Adhigaram Ondru'.
