Ajith's Superhit movie producer Passes away!

Producer S Sriram has been known for associating with top director Maniratnam, and together has produced many movies in the Aalayam productions banner. The producer has passed away today today.
Sriram has been known for producing some popular movies like the Maniratnam directed Bombay, Thiruda Thiruda, the Vijayakanth starrer Chatriyan, Sarathkumar starrer Dasarathan, Thala Ajith starrer Aasai, and later Maniratnam started producing movies in his Madras Talkies banner.
One of the last known production ventures of Aalayam Productions Sriram was the Chiyaan Vikram, Anitha starrer Samurai, which was also the debut directorial venture of acclaimed director Balaji Sakthivel and the movie was a commercial failure.
