1. Thirike - Film: Arabikatha; Music: Bijibal; Lyrics: Anil Panachooran; Singer: Yesudas

The song essentially acts like the title song of the film conveying the feeling for the craving for one's homeland when one is in foreign lands. And with Kerala known for producing the most number of N R I’s from the country, the song with the mood of nostalgia is a certain hit.

2. Chella thamara - Film: Hello; Music: Alex Paul; Lyrics: Sarath Varma; Singers: K.S. Chitra and Sangeetha Prabhu.

The melodious song with strong vocals of Chithra at once made it to the top of the charts.

3. Oru vaakum mindathe - Film: July 4; Music: Ousepachan; Lyrics: Shibu Chakravarthy; Singers: Vineeth Sreenivasan

A welcome melody from the film, which makes us humming all through and asks for repeated listening. The only song at present in the charts from the last year’s best singer.

4. Vasantha Nilave - Film: Sooryan; Music Ilayaraja Lyrics:Gireesh Puthencherry singer Madhu Balakrishnan.

The song is the best number of the album poignantly rendered by the singer.
