2. "Mazhai" (Director - Rajkumar): "Mazhai" is the remake of the successful Telugu film "Varsham". But, in all probability, "Mazhai" starring Jeyam Ravi and Shriya will not repeat the success of the original. Jeyam Ravi does more action than emotion in the film.

3. "Tottijaya" (Director - Dorai): "Tottijaya" is Silambarasan's first out-and-out action film, and it is a success.

4. "Ah..Aah" (Director - S.J. Suryah): Suryah romancing Simran look-alike Nila can be termed as a huge success.

5. "Oru Kallouriyin Kathai" (Director - Nanda Periyasamy): This film continues to be steady at the box office. It also marks the arrival of yet another young hero, Arya.
