1) Tirupachi
Vijay's carefully calibrated formula works. The movie has plenty of entertainment. The real hit among the Pongal releases.
2) Ayyah
Hari has toned down his fast-paced script and come up with a slow entertainer. Sarath is first rate as the old man. A good movie. But the collections are dropping.
3) Devadhaiyay Kandein
A loose and disjointed effort. Fails to save Dhanush.
4) Ayudham
Prashanth's lean trot continues. There is nothing redeeming in the film.
5) Iyer IPS
Sathyaraj's assembly line is working over time. But the movie is an absolute dud.
