With the arrival of a few new biggies, the box office list is quite new this week. And as expected Mammootty's ‘Roudram’ is on the top of the list .The top five films of the week are

1. ‘Roudram’ - The film which opened this Thursday suddenly jumped on to the first position, making an amazing opening. The punch lines scripted by Renji Panikkar and stylish sequences with Mammootty , donning the police uniform after a couple of years is said to be reasons for the great initials that the film is fetching.

2. 'College Kumaran' - Mohanlal's first movie in the new year did not start with a characteristic 'Lal'' opening but have climbed up in the weekend. The film is making mixed responses but according to the initial responses, the film may workout and will make a profit, if marketed well.

3. 'Calcutta News' - Dileep had many expectations on this film which was in the news for a year. But the second week collection shows a drastic fall. The new efforts in further promoting the film is on and we will have to wait for another weekend to decide on the fate of the film.

4. 'Katha Parayumpol' - This Mammootty- Sreenivasan starrer is till maintaining its collection graphs. The film hasn't taken a fall with the arrival of big blockbusters and is making an inflow of more than fifty percent in almost all theaters. The film which will reach fifty days this week continues in almost all release centers.

5. 'Bheemaa' - The Vikram starrer had a pretty good initial and is continuing in major centers with reasonable collections.
