Recently, the heroines have been making money by advertising various products on their Instagram pages. Now, leading Tamil actresses Pooja Hegde, Kajal Aggarwal, Raai Lakshmi and Hansika including others are advertising for alcohol on their Instagram pages and this has pissed off some fans.
Pooja Hegde is currently working with Thalapathy Vijay in Beast and Prabhas in Radhe Shyam. She is a famous star in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages. Recently, Pooja shared a video promoting blended scotch whisky on her Instagram page. Netizens have commented that this is wrong in Buttabomma heroine's post.
Raai Lakshmi is a glamorous actress who works predominantly in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi languages. The latest is that she has shared an Instagram post promoting Japan's "Toki Whisky" with a captivating photo of hers and explained its meaning in the caption. She is being heavily criticised for the post.
Famous Tamil & Telugu actress Hansika Motwani also joined in the promotions. She promoted the same drink that was advertised by Raai Lakshmi. One of the top heroines in the south Indian film industry, Kajal Aggarwal has also joined the party. She posted an image with her husband and liquor on her Insta and promoted the blended scotch whiskey.
Kajal also added a disclaimer reading, "Drink responsibly. The content is for people above 25 years of age only." The heroines are facing criticisms in this regard. Fans and Netizens have strongly condemned the advertisement of having alcohol with food casually. People are claiming that this may encourage youngsters to consume alcohol, which is very wrong.
