IndiaGlitz Telugu introduces 'Weekly Roundup', a special weekend feature starting this week. We bring you the top 10 Tollywood stories that were the talk of the town for a reason.

It could be a most-witnessed event, an awaited release, a teaser/trailer that went viral, a statement that turned out to be sensational or controversial, a controversy that kept the rumour mills busy, a pic that was something to write home about, or any other exciting item.

Here we bring you the top 10 stories of the week:

1. The audio of Sardaar Gabbar Singh presented Mega fans the sight of the two Mega brothers sharing the dais in a long time. If Chiranjeevi reiterated his affection towards Power Star, Pawan Kalyan made it a point to talk about his loyalty to his brother, never mind the political differences. The icing on the cake, of course, was the selfie that Pawan clicked with Chiru.

2. DSP was back in the action. SGS's songs, especially, 'Nee Chepa Kallu' and 'Tauba Tauba' instantly became a rage with the listeners. The chartbuster couldn't have had a better week!

3. The simultaneous release of Theri in Tamil and Telugu came as a good news to many. With Dil Raju bagging the theatrical rights of Theri (said to have been titled Winner in Telugu), the expectations are high. What's more, Vijay now poses a challenge to several small-ticket Telugu films this April.

4. Bobby Simha debuts in Telugu. In Run, the remake of Neram, sees him in the role of a sadistic villain with a comic touch. Whether or not the audience have warmed up to him in a considerable way, the National Award-winning actor's entry is good news and a top story to boot.

5. Chandra Babu Naidu, the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, hard-hittingly said that some of the movies being made in Telugu are a cause of insomnia for many. On a serious note, he said that films should promote values.

6. Nandamuri Balakrishna was featured on the cover of India Today. Years after Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna were featured on the cover of the Telugu edition of this illustrious magazine, Balayya had his turn. The edition was released by the AP CM.

7. Sarrainodu's makers release the teaser of the song 'Blockbuster'. While Anjali is seen with her oomph intact, Allu Arjun with his significant and tough dance moves announces his energetic presence this summer.

8. Navdeep courted controversy as sections of the media reported that he ran away along with some of his friends when the police raided a farm house where he was allegedly participating in a rave party. The actor has since denied that a rave party took place. He slammed the media for not doing fact-checking.

9. Oopiri turned out to be one of the most respected movies in recent years. Importantly, it was as yet Karthi's biggest movie in Telugu ever since the dubbed films, Awara and Na Peru Shiva. Receiving applause from the likes of Rajamouli, Mahesh Babu, RGV, and VV Vinayak were PVP, Nag, and Karthi.

10. Balakrishna's 100th movie was finally announced. A historical drama to be directed by Krish, the film will have Tarakaratna playing a negative character.
