When most of the Kannada films are not even 'Ek Din Ka Sultan' in the box office here is 'Tony' with a caption 'Ek Din Ka Sultan'. A joint venture production of popular actor Srinagara Kitty and Indrakukar in SKI banner went on the floor at Dodda Ganapathi temple on Bull Temple Road in Bengaluru.

Srinagara Kitty sitting pretty with hits like Sanju Weds Geetha, Hudugaru and Ko Ko Koli Kothi has immensely liked the screenplay and concept of director Jayathirtha nine months ago and showed his eagerness to make the film in his banner with his long time friend Indrakumar.

This is the second film of Jayathirtha who directed Olave Mandhara. Ek Din Ka Sultans are more in our society. They beg borrow or steal and enjoy life and not think of the future. They want to make quick money and forget the minute happiness. There is a run for life but there is no definite goal to social life today says intelligent director Jayathirtha. Sharat Lohitashva, Swayamvara Chandru, Suchindra Prasad, Veena Sunder, Harish Rayappa and some theatre actors are in the cast. Jayatheertha has decided to give thrill for every five minutes once in the film narration.

According to director Jayatheertha the talkie would be over in 57 to 60 days schedule. This is another road journey film with thrill as the main substance in the film. There is emotion, imagination, romance, songs etc promises the director. Songs we are shooting only in South India this time.

Aindrita Ray plays innocent and intelligent girl. She feels happy for various small issues like reading book, smelling flower and hearing the sound of birds. She is also replica of modernity. She has no condition love for the protagonist.

My role in the film is the one that seeks happiness for that time and enjoy life at any cost is the temperament says Srinagara Kitty. Wants are unlimited but greed should not be the part of life is the focus in this film. I would take up films with social themes in the earning what I make as investment says Kirty firmly.
