The This Means War actor has his head screwed on straight as he steps from one block-buster to another.

Latest reports say that the 39 year old actor is all ready to get down to the role of Venom in the spin off sequence of Spiderman.

Marvel comics never get boring and same is the case with Marvel Comic based movies. Directed by Ruben Fleischer, the film`s shooting will start this autumn and is set to hit the big screen around October, 2018.

Tom Hardy has previously played the role of a villain in the movie The Dark Knight Rises, directed by Christopher Nolan, opposite Christian Bale. Now, he has completed filming The Dunkirk, also directed by the hit director Christopher Nolan.

Seems like the hit combination of Tom and Chris is working for the best!

The Oscar nominated British hunk is shown sporting a tank-top with the Venom`s character printed on it. This confirmed the rumors surrounding his role in the Spiderman spin off, on twitter, by Sony Pictures.

Fans` response to the post sounded pretty exciting and welcoming of the decision.

Nobody can play the role better than Tom Hardy. At least that`s what his fans think.
