There were recent reports in Hollywood media that popular Hollywood actor Tom cruise, known for blockbuster movies like Mission Impossible franchise, Edge of Tomorrow, Jack Ryan, Jerry Maguire, Top Gun etc is all set to shoot a movie in outer space.

It was reported that Tom will team upt with Elon Musk’s SpaceX and NASA for the action adventure and now, Nasa administrator Jim Bridenstine has confirmed it with his tweet "NASA is excited to work with @TomCruise on a film aboard the @Space_Station! We need popular media to inspire a new generation of engineers and scientists to make @NASA’s ambitious plans a reality.”

This movie is planned to be filmed in International space station which is orbiting 400 kilometres above earth. While Elon Musk hasn't confirmed his participation in the movie, he responded to Bridenstine's tweet as he replied “Should be a lot of fun!”.
