All the top production houses in Tollywood are now showing a keen interest in producing content-oriented films alongside their big-budget ventures. This shift reflects a growing trend in the industry, where established banners are encouraging young talent and exploring diverse subjects. Additionally, new production houses are emerging, focusing on creating small to medium-range films.
SVC - Dil Raju Productions: Star producer Dil Raju, known for Sri Venkateswara Creations, recently launched 'Dil Raju Productions' to produce content-oriented films. This move has been successful, with films like 'Balagam' receiving critical acclaim and awards. Dil Raju Productions is currently working on projects like 'Love Me' and 'Akasha Dati Vastava'.
Harika and Hasini Creations - Sitara Entertainments: Under Harika and Hasini Creations, S. Radhakrishna produces big-budget films directed by Trivikram Srinivas. 'Sitara Entertainments' and 'Fortune 4 Cinemas' are subsidiaries producing films by Suryadevara Nagavanshi and Sai Saujanya, respectively. They have had recent hits with movies like 'Mad' and 'Tillu Square'.
UV Creations - V Celluloid: Producers Vamsi and Pramod of UV Creations have started 'V Celluloid' for content-oriented films. They have released films like 'Gami' and 'Om Bheem Bush' and are currently working on projects like 'Ma Nanna Super Hero' and a periodical sports backdrop movie with Sharwanand.
Geeta Arts - GA2 Pictures: Allu Aravind's Geeta Arts has established GA2 Pictures for medium-range content-oriented movies. They are currently producing 'Tandel' and have lined up a movie with Boyapati Srinu.
Vyjayanthi Movies - Swapna Cinemas: Vyjayanthi Movies, led by Ashwini Dutt, has been producing big-budget films for 50 years. Their subsidiary 'Swapna Cinemas' focuses on short films and content-oriented movies, including hits like 'Mahanati' and 'Jatiratnalu'. They are currently working on 'Kalki 2898 AD'.
Mythri Movie Makers & AK Entertainments: Mythri Movie Makers are known for pan-India projects and occasional medium-range films like 'The Goat Life - Aadu Jivan' and 'Manjummal Boys'. AK Entertainments, led by Anil Sunkara, produces big-budget movies with stars and medium-range films with good content, such as the successful 'Uri Parama Bhairavakona'.
