It is evident that there is a colossal increase in Corona and Omicron cases in recent days all over the country. The government has imposed strict restrictions on all sectors to control the rise of virus infection. Even celebrities aren't an exception from getting infected with the disease. Several cine industry people have tested positive for COVID, lately.

We already reported to you that Vagai Puyal Vadivelu, actress Meena family and Arun Vijay were affected by COVID. Now, the Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu has tested positive for the coronavirus. He is a great hero, producer, media personality, and philanthropist who works mainly in Telugu cinema. The Sarkaru Vaari Paata actor recently went on a personal trip to Dubai and he returned to Hyderabad just a couple of days ago.

Mahesh took to his Twitter page a while ago to share about his health condition. The star posted an official statement regarding the same which reads:

"To all my fans and well-wishers,

Despite taking all the necessary precautions, I've tested positive for COVID-19 with mild symptoms. I've isolated myself at home and have been following medical guidance.

Request all those who came in contact with me to get themselves tested. I urge everyone who's not taken their vaccination to do so immediately, as it reduces the risk of severe symptoms and hospitalization. Please follow the COVID norms and stay safe.
