If the likes of Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Venkatesh and Nagarjuna are so interested in remakes, can others be behind.

The news is that the 2016 Tamil movie 'Aandavan Kattalai' will be remade into Telugu with newbie Rakshak and 'Colors' Swathi in lead roles. The untitled flick will be directed by Chinni Krishna of 'Veedu Theda' and 'Brother Of Bommali' fame.

The critically-acclaimed original boasts of situational comedy, besides dealing with a substantial plot. Vijay Sethupathy and Ritika Singh, the actors in the original, received critical acclaim for their performances. It has to be seen how far debutante Rakshak will pull it off as against an experienced actor like Vijay.
