Tolly actor adjudged guilty, sentenced

Remember that Uday Kiran of Facebook fame was caught red-handed having a brawl with the staff of a star hotel in Hyderabad last month?  The news is that he has been adjudged guilty under several IPC sections and sentenced to a jail term of one year by a local court.

He was booked under IPC for resorting to kicking around and abuse in an inebriated condition on March 26.  The police swung into action and took him into custody.  As he kept on denying that he was even there in Hyderabad that night (despite being caught indulging in vandalism on CCTV camera), the police registered cases against him in Jubilee Hills.

Before the verdict, he had been detailed at the Chenchelguda jail.

The actor is reportedly a repeat offender.  Looks like the judge gave him the sentence keeping that in mind.
