Not every debut film maker working in any of the film industries around the world can get fortunate of getting one gem of a story idea and later on create it as he envisaged and once released bask in the glory of seeing it being addressed as a landmark movie that has within a few days acquired a cult status with the whole nation going crazy about it.

'Dil Chahta Hai' has that quality that comes with a movie once in several years and what every film buff will agree is that the film getting outdated is simply not going to happen.

Farhan himself admitted that he has got addicted to acting and with 'Luck By Chance' going to release soon and one movie called 'Kartik Calling Kartik' in the pipeline we can see more of him on the big screen.
