Dhanush, who has been adjudged the Best Actor for 'Asuran' (Tamil) by the jury of the 67th National Film Awards, on Tuesday took to Twitter and thanked the panel for giving him the prestigious award. Since this is his second National Award, the 'Raghuvaran B.Tech' actor said that he is feeling blessed.
"I never imagined I would come this far," Dhanush wrote, thanking also his parents and his guru-brother.
About director Vetrimaaran, Dhanush observed that he is proud to have acted in four of his movies, besides producing two in collaboration with him. He also described the acclaimed Kollywood director as a friend, companion and brother.
"I am glad you chose to believe in me and I chose to believe in you. Now I can't wait to hear what you have written for me next," Dhanush added.
The 'Jagame Thandhiram' actor described his fans as the pillars of strength.
