I became a director to fulfill my father's wish, says cinematographer Vijay Milton, who has ventured to direct the movie titled Azhagay Irrukirai Bayamai Irukiradhu.

The movie stars Bharath in the lead role and would be produced by actor-director Cheran.

Asked about his attempt at wielding the megaphone, he says, "my father was hell bent on becoming a director, so he entered the film field. Unfortunately he could not succeed in his attempt. Hence he wished that I should become a director one day. Thank Almighty, his wish has been realized now through me".

Vijay Milton's is a great admirer of director Balu Mahendra. He says, "he brings out the right emotions from the artistes and leaves an impact with the audience"

Will the cameraman turned director also do the same?
