Former CBFC chief, Pahlaj Nihalani, has said that those film industry personalities who sexually exploit actresses and actors will be named and shamed publicly. This could happen in near future.
"We are in the process of getting together voices of the victims to speak up publicly," the controversial veteran has told a national daily. Pahlaj is an old-timer in Bollywood. He has produced movies in the past.
"Bollywood has a very clear list of delinquents who abuse their position to seek sexual favors from wannabe actresses and actors," Pahlaj adds. Not that this is unknown, but what makes his statements remarkable is that he has in mind a "clear list" of felons!
It seems we are in for an explosive Hindi film industry scandal in the coming days. Those habitual offenders whose names will be made public by the victims themselves must already be trembling!
