The Producer Council chief Vishal had announced that all film activities will come to a stand still from the 30th of May, 2017 as the industry would go on an indefinite strike as a protest against piracy.

As we reported earlier the theater owners are not keen on shutting shop as the Baahubali 2` and other a few Hollywood blockbusters are bringing in the moolah. Today the TN film distributors and exhibitors association have issued a joint statement that they are not participating in the strike and business will go on as usual after the 30th. We will get you Vishal`s reaction the minute we have it.
