TN Seshan – The ‘Real’ Game Changer

Global star Ram Charan’s ‘Game Changer’ had a grand release in theaters on Friday. There is hit talk from across the nation. Ram Charan impressed in three looks in this film. Appanna’s role is to get a good appreciation from everyone. However, the role of Charan as an IAS officer in this film is inspired by a real-life IAS officer.

Writer Karthik Subbaraj is said to have been inspired by TN Seshan, an IAS officer from the Tamil Nadu cadre. Thirunellai Narayana Iyer Seshan, aka TN Seshan, is a name that is not very familiar to the current generation. But.. this is a sensational name in the country’s politics in the 90s.

As the Election Commissioner of India, he shook up prominent political leaders with the rights given to him by the Constitution. He initiated many reforms in the Indian electoral process. He discharged his duties with sincerity in the Election Commission and every department he worked in. Due to this, many cases and controversies revolved around him. Never did he give in to the pressure.

TN Seshan also became an IPS officer first and then became an IAS the next year.
