Breaking! TN govt allows film shootings to resume - relaxes most locdown rules

The Tamil Nadu government has announced major relaxations on the existing lockdown and as good news to the film industry has permitted film shootings to resume from September 1st with a maximum of seventy-five persons as cast and crew barring any spectators. Malls will also be allowed to reopen though multiplexes and single-screen theaters to remain shut.
In another major move, the government has also announced resumption of both local and inter-district bus transport (govt and private) from the 1st of September and metro rail services in Chennai to restart the operation from September 7th.
Places of worship have also been allowed from the next month. Hotels, resorts, gyms and all other showrooms and big shops are allowed to function with a full staff and so are both the central and the state government offices. IT and ITES companies have been asked to promote work from home wherever it is necessary. The EPass system has been done away with for inter-district travel while the system generated passes should be procured for interstate travel.
