In what appears to be a shocking news, Tamil Nadu doctors want to bring down Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Mersal’ as the film reportedly portrays the state’s medical condition in bad light.

Condemning ‘Mersal’ for its storyline, the doctors association also said that they do not wish to watch the movie by paying ticket costs. The president of the Indian Medical Association also stated that they would not approach the court or talk to the media as it will only increase the publicity of the film.

Instead the doctor members have decided to boycott the movie and support its piracy among their work colleagues, family members and large groups. They have also stated that they will meet with the director and the producer of the film to let them know that the story is factually incorrect and that Tamil Nadu state’s healthcare is well off than other private healthcare.
