Oscar Nayagan AR Rahman and his live music concerts are household names in the world countries. The composer had massive events planned in Chennai and Coimbatore this month, which are his concerts in his homeland after several months. Unfortunately, one of his music shows got postponed.
Isai Puyal had live concerts in Adityaram Properties in Chennai ECR on August 12th and in Codissia in Coimbatore on August 20th. Due to heavy rains on Saturday, the Chennai concert was postponed to a later date. Many of his fans had travelled from distant cities and countries for this grand musical night and they were utterly disappointed with the change of plans.
Following this, ARR consoled his fans with a Twitter chat session and an Instagram live. However, the legendary composer was very unhappy about the postponement and made a wish to the TN government via Twitter. He posted, "I hope and pray that..with the help of our government..we construct the next level infrastructure for art, mega shows and international experiences for Chennai #SafetyFirst #rain-resistant #sun-resistant #cluttterfreeparking #notrafficjams" (sic).
MK Stalin, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, replied to his post and said, "Chennai will soon fulfil this long-felt aspiration! #KalaignarConventionCentre to be established on #ECR, will be a world-class facility that can host large format concerts, performances, events, exhibitions and conventions. With iconic landscaping, hotels, food courts, parking spaces and excellent connectivity it will be the new cultural icon of the city! #Kalaignar100" (sic). AR Rahman's wish will soon come true with TN government's help. These tweets are now going viral.
