Even amidst the panic and fear around due to the coronavirus pandemic, a 25-year-old girl from Coimbatore, who was treated for 18 days at the Government ESI hospital in Coimbatore after testing positive for coronavirus, has did something unexpected.
The MBA student was admitted on March 16 and has recovered from the infection, besides also writing four exams and submitting two assignments to her University. When the girl was discharged on April 6, she had finished her final exams and the second term of the course she is doing in Spain, and the highlight is that she did this all from the corona ward.
The student reportedly carried her laptop and phone and getting herself involved in completing the exams was what kept her occupied during isolation. The girl will be in home quarantine for 14 days. She has completed Corporate Finance, Business, Government and Society and Innovation and Operations exams besides also giving an internship interview on her discharge day. To avoid reading false news spread about her, she avoided social media and read books. After her return to her apartment, people residing there clapped for her and cheered to welcome her after successful recovery.
