An announcement regarding the title of Chiranjeevi's 150th flick has been hugely awaited by his fans. As per some well-placed sources in the industry, the actor-director duo have come to a conclusion as to the title: it's 'Khaidi No. 150'.

The choice of the title is self-evident. If the number '150' denotes Chiru's 150th film, 'Khaidi' is meant to be a throwback to the Megastar's popular films 'Khaidi' and 'Khaidi No. 786' of the 1980s. Formal release of the title is expected on Aug 22, which is Chiru's birthday. A remake of Vijay-starrer 'Katthi', this one has Kajal Aggarwal playing the female lead.

This puts to rest the speculation that 'Katthilantodu' could be the title. If this title was registered with Film Chamber, it must be because Cherry might want to use it for a future film.
