Lok Sabha polling for Tamil Nadu has been scheduled on April 18, and the parties in the state are busy campaigning and making plans and strategies to succeed in the elections. The ruling ADMK had allied with prominent parties BJP and PMK, and the latter had been allotted 7 seats to contest in elections.
With the parties supposed to coordinate and work cordially towards claiming the throne, the coordination seems to have gone for a toss, as a PMK member's words that the ADMK candidate had never visited his constituency for 10 years, has turned out to be a controversy.
In Gummidipoondi, the introduction meet of Tiruvallur constituency ADMK candidate Venugopal was held, and during this event, the PMK candidate who was there to introduce him said that Venugopal is a good candidate and doesn't have any negatives other than the fact that he had not visited the constituency for 10 years. This turned out to be a shocker for ADMK members around. Earlier, an ADMK member had sought votes for Lotus instead of Mango, another had sought votes for Kanimozhi instead of ADMK and another calling Rahul Gandhi as Modi's grandson, had damaged the reputation of the party heavily.
