Superstar Rajnikanth, after his scifi thriller 2.0, has struck screens this festive season, with his 165th film Petta, directed by Karthik Subbaraj and featuring an ensemble cast alongside. The movie, released on January 10 alongside Thala Ajith - Siva combo's Viswasam, has been working wonders at the box office.

Today, a whatsapp voice message from veteran distributor to Superstar Rajnikanth has gone viral, and the distributor can be heard calling Petta a good flick that has been loved by audience, and called Petta a big hit while thanking the Superstar for this Pongal festival hit.

In response,Rajnikanth has thanked Subramaniam for his words, and acknowledged his words as that of the whole industry. Meanwhile, the film's director Karthik Subbaraj also took it to twitter, thanking the audience who have got "Rajinified", and wished audience to enjoy Pongal holidays with "Petta Pongal Sweet".
