Sanitary worker dies tragically in Gaja Cyclone relief works

The Gaja Cyclone has created havoc in the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu displacing atleast a lakh people living there. Elizabeth of Tirupattur a sanitary worker on duty died tragically as an uprooted tree fell on her. The Tamil Nadu State Disaster Management Authority has been pressed into action and relief measures of the Tamil Nadu government.
According to latest reports at least 23 people have been reported dead by the Gaja cyclone disaster and several thousand trees have been uprooted and power supply has been cut in many areas.
