A rejuvenated Ajith, after tasting success finally with Paramasivan, teams up with biggies like director Perarasu and a famed production house like AVM for Tirupathi.
The movie is 167th venture from the famed production house, which completed its diamond jubilee year.
Considered a safe bet in the industry is director Perarasu. After back-to-back hits in Thirupachi and Sivakasi, he now ventures to direct Ajith.
`I am aware of the expectations building up not only from Ajith's fans but also from the industry as such. I could only marvel at the commitment of Ajith and the freedom from the reputed banner, says Perarasu.
Known for swift screenplay and enough action, Perarasu has not tried to deviate from his style in Tirupathi.
'Music has played an important facet in my earlier ventures. Bharadwaj's racy offering has five songs including a melodious number which should satisfy Ajith's fans', he adds.
Perhaps it has. The audio has done wonderfully well at the market.
This is Ajith's first film in the prestigious banner, produced by M Saravanan and M S Guhan.
Ajith, who is looking slim, plays a `mike set and serial light' operator. There are plenty of interesting punch-lines for him in this movie.
According to Saravanan, 'plans were on for a long time to do a movie with Ajith. Thanks to my son Guhan things took shape with Tirupathi'.
For Sada playing heroine alongside Ajith for a reputed production firm like AVM was a dream come true experience. She says, 'I play a naughty girl in the movie and was nice to be part of this team'.
Sada's run-ins with Ajith would be one of the highlights of the movie.
Perarasu will handle the story, screenplay, lyrics and direction.
